Yoga Therapy for Grief & Loss

When grief lives in the body

Yoga therapy to support the body, mind and nervous system through grief and loss

The next Yoga Therapy for Grief & Loss course is planned for October 2026. Bookings will open soon.

Grief isn’t only emotional. It can be felt in the body as heaviness, tension, fatigue, restlessness, numbness or difficulty settling. Yoga therapy offers gentle, body-based practices to support the nervous system, create moments of rest, and help you begin to feel more connected to yourself again.

Who this is for:

  • relationship loss

  • job loss

  • changes in health or identity

  • changes in future expectations

  • recent grief

  • long-held grief

Grief does not follow a timetable. Whether your loss is recent or something you have carried for some time, you are welcome.

What to expect

  • small supportive groups

  • gentle practices

  • breathwork

  • nervous system support

  • guided relaxation / Yoga Nidra

  • reflection

  • no previous yoga experience needed

  • no expectation to share

You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels right.
