YOGA THERAPY

support for when words alone aren't enough

    What Is Yoga Therapy?

“The body teaches the mind, and the whole person, what the mind cannot arrive at through cognitive processes alone.”
    — M. Sullivan

Yoga therapy offers support when words alone aren’t enough.
Sometimes what you feel can’t be easily explained — a heaviness in your chest, a knot in your stomach, a lump in your throat, or an unshakable sense of grief or unease.
Yoga therapy helps you gently explore these sensations, understand what they may be communicating, and move through them with care and awareness.

Our bodies hold emotions, memories, and experiences, just as our minds do. Yoga therapy works with the whole of you — body, mind, and spirit. Using yogic principles such as movement, breathwork, somatic (body-based) inquiry, and philosophy, alongside modern neuroscience, we’ll tune into what arises in your body and connect with your inner wisdom.

Together, we’ll work collaboratively to rediscover your sense of wholeness — your natural state of harmony with yourself, others, and the world around you.

    What Can It Help With?

Through both personal experience and professional training, I’m particularly passionate about supporting those navigating grief and loss.

Yoga therapy can also be a powerful support for those experiencing:

    • Anxiety

    • Depression

    • Low self-esteem

    What to Expect

Every session is unique — because every person is unique.
Rather than following a set sequence of postures as in a typical yoga class, we’ll let each session unfold naturally, guided by what you’re experiencing in the moment. This is a space for exploration, curiosity, and gentle discovery.

No previous yoga experience is needed — just an openness to listen to your body and meet yourself where you are.

Please note that yoga therapy is not a substitute for medical care, physiotherapy, or psychotherapy. However, it can be a deeply supportive complement to these approaches.
